PROJECT CALENDAR
1.Look for us at Show & Shine Weekend, July 11th and 12th, 2009. Saturday night is movies night. The Drive-in movie has been revived by the organizers. The event will take place at th East Parking Lot at Westminster Quay. The movie will be "Grease". New Westminster Lions will be doing the "Snack Bar". Popcorn, Ice Cream bars and Cold Drinks. Come and enjoy a night of nostaglia. If you would like to volunteer, please contact us.
2. St Barnabas Community Breakfast. July 18,2009 9:30AM - Noon. Admission by donation. All proceeds to St Barnabas out reach programs. Come out and support your community.
3. August 15, 2009. Annual summer BBQ for our family and friends.
4. August 22,2009. Yet another summer fundraiser. Look for us at the Quayside Community Board Garage Sale; Reliance Court, rain or shine. Come for the bargains and enjoy the music nd the food. The Lions will have their hot dog grill ready to go. Have a "Dog". a cold drink and an ice cream?
SUMMER MEETING SCHEDULE
We take a bit of a break during July and August with only one regular meeting each month. They are: July 13,2009 6:30PM & August 10th, 2009 6:00PM. Both meetings take place at Boston Pizza in Columbia Square. Visitors are welcome. Drop in and check us out! Our regular meeting schedule will resume on September 14,2009.
